Went to Panera tonight and the food was amazing as always. I felt that the service was great also, but the manager that was working there was being absolutely horrible to her employees. She was belittling them and made them flustered. It was sad to watch. I made sure to tell the girls they were all doing great and that I was sorry they were being treated that way. I hope the manager learns to be more of a leader and less of a bully. The girls making the food were all so kind and sweet and didn't deserve to be treated like that. I'll definitely come back because I love Panera, but I hope that manager gets an attitude check. She was awful. I've worked in management and have never treated my employees the way I saw her treat those girls tonight. The 5 stars are for the food and the girls working. Didn't get their names, but one is named Emma I believe. I would give the manager 1 star.
Went here with my FIL, he got a coffee and a pastry, we got two coffees. He was real impressed by the pastry and said it was real good. My husband loves his chai tea latte and my vanilla latte was delicious when it was hot. When it got cold, it was too sweet(or that the syrup was all at the bottom) pretty standard Panera, just like all other Panera.
Typical Panera. I have stopped here off and on for a good while. Same good quality that you expect. Everything was fresh. Place was clean...staff was courteous. I will stop at this one again. Something new! They do not ask you your name. They give you a buzzer. You order, have a seat, and they bring your order to you. Nice.
If I based my review on one experience, I would've given less stars tonight. But fortunately for Osage Beach Panera, I'm not one of those people. Overall, this place is usually on point and fairly quick. I've always found it to be clean here and the staff is friendly. Tonight, with a near empty dining area and only one other person in line at 3:30 in the afternoon on a Sunday, the service was as slow as humanly possible. I counted at least 5 people working behind the counter so it wasn't a staffing issue. I ordered two family soups and four loafs of baguette bread. It took forever. This really isn't the norm for this place and I can only assume that maybe they're training new hires or something. I'll be back for sure. Hopefully they're back to their usual best next time.
